About The Corbie Inn at Corbiehall in Bo'ness

The Corbie Inn at Corbiehall in Bo'ness officially opened on Friday 28 October 2011.

After 2 years of refurbishment (a lot more than expected), essential building repairs, other delays and bureaucratic holdups the doors were finally opened at 5pm.

The Corbie Inn Pub and RestaurantSince opening the response has been overwhelmingly positive about the refurbishment itself and about both the real ales on offer and the food. It makes the delays a lot easier to accept and now some even seem a distant memory!

The Bar

The Corbie Inn is owned and run by Gail Fairholm, originally from Edinburgh, having moved here about 8 years ago.

Gail is not new to the bar trade having worked, run and managed a number of licensed premises in Edinburgh, in an earlier life, although not all that long ago.

The Restaurant

Although the bar is now open, that is not the end of it! The bar is only the beginning as the intention has always been to open both a pub and restaurant and the first stage of that plan, the opening of the pub, has been realised.

The opening of the restaurant will take a bit longer as there is still a fair bit of building work to be carried out in the adjacent restaurant area but, with the success of the pub opening, the potential for a good but not overly priced eatery looks to have even more potential.
