Finalists announce for BBN Scotland National Awards 2015-2016
Fifty-four venues in Scotland have been chosen as finalists in the Best Bar None Scotland National Awards 2015-16 to find the best licensed premises in the country.
Corbie Inn is delighted to have been successful in reaching the National BBN Finals for 2016 in the Heart of the Community category for the second year running.
The National Awards rewards the best of the 400 plus Best Bar None accredited venues in Scotland and are a highly prestigious and well-attended event.
This year the awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 24th March at The Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.
Last year at the 5th Best Bar None Annual Awards Ceremony the Corbie Inn won the Heart of the Community for 2015.

Falkirk venues prove they are Best Bar None
Clubs, pubs and bars across Falkirk are celebrating after receiving official accreditation at the Best Bar None 2015 Awards ceremony.
The Corbie Inn is delighted to have been awarded a Gold Award again this year and to have been given the opportunity of hosting the Best Bar None 2015 Awards Ceremony.

Camra Present Awards to Corbie Inn
Last year The Corbie Inn, was voted Forth Valley Members' Choice, Pub of the Year for 2014.
Earlier this year they were awarded Forth Valley South Pub of the Year 2015.
Having won the regional award went forward to the main competition. And, shortly afterwards were confirmed winners of the branch Forth Valley Pub of the Year for 2015.

Last night at the 5th Best Bar None Annual Awards Ceremony the Corbie Inn won the Heart of the Community category for 2015.
The ceremony took place on Thursday 26 March 2015 at the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
Best Bar None is a partnership initiative which aims to create and promote a vibrant day and night time economy in Scotland.
All Finalists are accredited pubs, bars, hotel bars, nightclubs and other specialist entertainment venues which provide high quality standards of safety for their customers and staff.
After receiving a third and Best Bar None Gold plaque, in the local BBN awards for 2014, being proposed for the national Heart of the Community category, was thought the icing on the cake.

National Pub of the Year competition
CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) run an annual competition to find the best pub in the UK.
The National Pub of the Year competition was established in 1988.
The competition helps to highlight quality pubs around the UK that are worth seeking out and visiting.

The Corbie Inn, after being voted Forth Valley Members' Choice, Pub of the Year 2014 is delighted to have been recognised and awarded Pub of the Year 2015 for the Forth Valley Area.

Best Bar None (BBN) Scotland National Awards 2014/15
Not every applicant makes it to the final. The Corbie Inn is both delighted and honoured to be nominated by Best Bar None as one of the Heart of the Community Finalists.
After local accreditation, local BBN coordinators nominate relevant premises to be considered for the national awards.
After receiving a third and Best Bar None Gold plaque in the local BBN awards for 2014, being proposed for the national Heart of the Community category is the icing on the cake.

Sunday 26 October saw the 2014 BEST BAR NONE Awards held this year in Behind the Wall in Falkirk.
For the third year running the Corbie Inn was up for an award and having received Silver in their first two years of operation had high hopes!
And, this year these were realised!
Gail, owner and licensee of the Corbie Inn, was honoured to receive her framed Certificate and Gold Award Plaque in recognition of achieving the required level of accreditation in the annual scheme to improve licensed premises throughout Scotland.
Best Bar None works to reduce crime, reward excellence and raise the standards of alcohol licensed premises.

CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, are the UK’s campaigning organisation who exist to ensure that beers and ales, brewed & served in a traditional way, are as widely available as possible.
CAMRA is an independent, voluntary, consumer organisation which campaigns for real ale, real pubs and consumer rights and has over 163,000 members nationwide and 200 branches throughout the UK.
CAMRA Forth Valley is the local branch for this area and like every branch, every year, survey their local area to find both new and the best outlets offering real ale.

Second Best Bar None Silver Plaque Award for Corbie Inn
presented at City Night Club, Falkirk
At a presentation, held earlier last month, in the City Night Club in Falkirk, the Corbie Inn was presented with their second framed Certificate and Silver Award Plaque in recognition of achieving the required level of accreditation in the annual scheme to improve licensed premises in Scotland.
Best Bar None helps in creating a safer drinking environment that is good for everyone; customers, owners, the wider community, licensees, bar staff in addition to developing good relations with police, fire and other partner agencies.
The Best Bar None Awards Scheme is sponsored by Diageo, Molson Coors and HEINEKEN together with the Scottish Government and is an integral part of the Safer Areas Initiatives within Scotland and works together with licensed premises to create a safer and more welcoming city and town centre environments.
