Charity Burns Night

Robert Burns

Join us for a Celebration of our National Bard

Not a traditional Burns Supper but a variation on a theme with proceeds going to charity.

At the Corbie we have always had a hankering to do a Burns Night and with NextDoor open there is now space to do it.

An Evening with Burns

There will be no long speeches only some of the best known items including:-

  • Address Tae the Haggis
  • Tam o' Shanter
  • Holy Willie's Prayer
  • And a few toasts to the Lad's & Lassies

There will be the usual and traditional 3 course meal of

  • Cockaleekie Soup
  • Haggis, Tatties & Pickle o' Mince
  • Cranachan

Music and entertainment will be provided by local group Io'laire and Mary Gilfillan singing some of Burns' most loved melodies and songs celebrating our National Bard.
