Beer Garden Open for Bo'ness Children's Fair Day

Beer Garden–Open for The Fair

Like you we are all looking forward to Bo’ness Fair Day and we’re all hoping that it does turn out to be the best day of the year for everyone, the children in particular!

Despite a few ‘little’ hiccups with licensing the beer garden, at the back of pub, has officially been open for over a week now, and even not fully finished, has already seen a good number of patrons enjoy the pleasure of sitting and eating outside in that elusive thing we call sunshine.

Corbie Inn’s new beer garden open & hoping for the sun!

But, the good news is that in the last few days all the bits & pieces have come together and will be fully operational for all of Bo’ness Fair Day.

The decking’s down, the grass is all laid and the tables all out and ready, just waiting for the sun to get its hat on and make an appearance on Fair Day and for the rest of the summer (ever the optimist).

Fair E'en Ale for Bo'ness Fair Day

So, if you have the opportunity to pop down and see us, hopefully you can enjoy a Fair Day tipple ‘al fresco’.

New beer on tap for Fair Day, too!

The Kinneil Brewhoose has also produced a Fair E’en ale specially for this year’s Fair and it’s on tap right now so that Fair Day tipple could very well be a drop of that.

Fair E'en is a light refreshing beer for Bo'ness Fair. Brewed using the finest malted barley from Drem in East Lothian, and Perle hops from Germany.

Clean tasting with just a hint of mint in the aftertaste and slightly spicy in the aroma. 3.8%ABV. A fine session beer, even better enjoyed sitting outside in the Corbie Inn Beer Garden.

Whether we see you or not, have a Happy Fair Day, everyone!
