Change of Beer and Cider on the Bar

Not real ale but some might say ‘just as good’!

Although the Corbie Inn prides itself on having the best range of real ales in the area, with 6 always available on the bar, we do also like to offer some other styles that might not be as readily available elsewhere.

Two new offerings are now available replacing West Red and Strongbow Cider!

In this case it’s a premium lager and a popular cider brand: StaroPramen Lager (5.0%) and Magners Golden Draught (4.5%).

Staropramen Genuine Czech Lager Beer 5.0%

Staropramen Premium Czech LagerStaropramen Premium Czech Lager Brewery, the No1 Prague beer in the world, has been linked to Prague's brewing origins since 1869.

The well balanced, full-bodied, highly drinkable and pleasantly smooth taste of our Premium Lager offers a rewarding pleasure of the genuine Czech beer.

The bright golden clear colour clashes at the top with a thick creamy foam, giving it an inconceivable taste.

Full-bodied and pleasantly balanced, Staropramen starts off with a thoroughly rewarding and soft malty flavour, finishing off with a just right gentle bitterness.

Magners Golden Draught 4.5%

Magners Golden Draught CiderMagners Golden Draught is produced with the same craft, care and dedication as Magners Original Irish Cider in bottles.

Differs from bottled Magners as it is made using a higher proportion of the smaller, harder Dabinett and Michelin apples. Produces a crisper, less sweet taste which is perfect for draught cider.

Magners Golden Draught is served extra cold so there is no need for extra ice in the glass. It tastes great just as it comes!

Magners Golden Draught was launched in Scotland in June 2010.
